Us gear sluts know the feeling of that situation when it drives by us and we take no action. Missed opportunities happen all the time...............
6 channel vacuum tube side car- with Painton Quadrant Faders. Yup EMI classics. Oh well........... AXE to the Skins..........Always been the #1 inspiration of drum & bass production..........you can see the eyes of Earl looking up to Axelrod like a child would to a father (Respect)........ I bet Axe is saying........"you know just play" and Carol will mold around you. Take the LEAD Drumma"
The family of Robolts are gathering really well. We will soon have these availible for adoption on the site-
stay tuned.............. these short term series from the late 1960's AKA
(Musique Concrète) is 100% inspiring the drumetrics library vision. with today's portable small devices- it would be genius if someone created a pocket size germanium preamp......
6 track mixing board should be the standard. When layering and layering and layering and layering a production. You can compare it to eating a sandwich. The more that's added the more it's hard to consume & digest. (Imagine) What if a speaker had a stomach? I'm sure if it intakes massive sound bites......it will end up with irritable bowel syndrome causing cramping-bloating then exiting out thin. AKA Diarrea. 💩👍🏼
Peanut Butter and Jelly Never Gets Old. Heres a catalog I received with our new adopted drum kit. It's from the late 1960's & basically (DMI) was the distributor for UK drums and instruments such as the Mellotron to the United States. (Classic Catalog)
This man was Europes out of the circle master mind-
His first drums he created were Hayman Drums late 1960's. Since Europe couldn't get USA drums imported easily he was the first to make that happen. In fact Beatle (Ringo) was given his first American drum by this man-He basically got Ringo Endorsed by Ludwig and made sure the Beatles logo was on the bass drum. His is name is Ivor Arbitor- Our Drum Sampling Production starts today-
here's a simple composing (Tip) From Mr Miles Davis............. In Other Words LESS is More. Keep it simple when recording the sound of the 1960's i always keep it simple with 2 band EQ as most early 60's consoles were equipped with. Plus studying the Mics natural EQ diaphragm frequency range is important. Room Accoustics next-BUT- when there's a 12 vacuum tube 60'sEQ in your face- it's tempting-to get into knob hypnosis.
